A 54-year-old musician and producer from Brasília, he holds a degree in music and has been working professionally in music for over 25 years. He has participated in several workshops and courses in arrangement, harmony and improvisation, taught by professionals such as Gamela, Nelson Faria and Ian Guest. During his musical career, he has been a member of choirs and musical groups of various styles such as Reggae, MPB, Pop and Rock. He has participated in the production of several soundtracks for cinema and theater.
In 1991, through his friendship with the teachers at the Brasília School of Music, Jaime Ernest Dias and Paulo André Tavares, he had the opportunity to join the Brasília Guitar Orchestra, formed by 16 guitarists. The partnership continues to this day, where he works as a musician and producer. He recorded the first CD of the Guitar Orchestra, called “Contrastes”, in 1997, and the second CD, called “À Moda Brasileira”, in 2003.
In 1998, Daniel joined his friend and musical partner Jorge Brasil in Mandragora, a guitar duo that develops original instrumental music. The partnership continues to this day and the duo has had the opportunity to perform several concerts in Brazil and abroad, with 3 CDs and a DVD in their repertoire.
